Northern Kentucky Community Action Commission began providing energy assistance through the Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program November 3, continuing through December 12 at each of the agency’s eight neighborhood centers.
Applicants must present the following:
- Most recent heating bill or verification that heating expenses are included in rent (eg, lease agreement).
- Social security card or official documentation with social security numbers for each member of the household.
- Proof of all household income for the prior month.

LIHEAP is a federally-funded program, operated in Kentucky by the state’s 23 community action agencies, in partnership with Community Action Kentucky and the Kentucky Cabinet for Health and Family Services.
