ReKindle is the small business development arm of Northern Kentucky Community Action Commission. We work with those interested in starting or expanding their small business to help them prepare for business ownership, write their business plans, and secure financing. Potential business owners participate in a six week class that takes them through the steps to business success in a structured way. NKCAC’s ReKindle program collaborates extensively with Northern Kentucky University’s Small Business Development Center, Gateway Community and Technical College, SCORE, the city of Covington, and others.
ReKindle’s first business, Eden Perk, is expected to open this spring in Ft. Thomas, Kentucky’s midway district. It will be owned and operated by ReKindle Graduate, Eden McDermott. Click on the link below for the January 1, 2012 Kentucky Enquirer article on Eden Perk.
