Northern Kentucky Community Action Commission is a 2008 honoree in the Cincinnati Better Business Bureau’s Torch Awards, and an accredited charity, as designated by the BBB for meeting the 20 accountability standards set forth by the wise giving council. Our programs have received a number of awards and honors, including USDA’s Summer Sunshine awards (3) for our summer nutrition program; Human Service program (2006), program of distinction (4) and innovative program (4) for our Weatherization program; Kentucky STARS program participant at each of our six Head Start centers.
